Writing update: I just finished an extensive revision of a humorous middle-grade book and I’m really happy with the outcome. Next on the agenda is a reworking of one of my chapter books into a middle-grade book with a magical element. Should be fun. Hope to be ready to start something completely new this summer and have some ideas brewing, but since I love rearranging furniture, redecorating, reorganizing and all other sorts of “re,” I can’t help but be excited about these revisions in my near future.
Life is providing lots of material and I feel like a sponge. I’m having great opportunities to look at things with fresh eyes in my daily life and it’s challenging, refreshing and enlightening. Can’t wait to see what ideas spring forth from these experiences.
